Dr. Elizabeth Ritter is a board-certified otolaryngologist specializing in comprehensive adult and pediatric ENT care. After completing her undergraduate education at Philadelphia University, she was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to conduct a year-long research study on soccer-related head trauma in Munich, Germany. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her otolaryngology surgical training at the University of North Carolina Hospital at Chapel Hill. During her residency, she received the otolaryngology “Resident of the Year” award at WakeMed Hospital and the Amelia F. Drake, MD, Airway Management – Cool Under Pressure award. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA).
Dr. Ritter enjoys treating both children and adults and values building strong relationships with her patients and their families. She appreciates the unique aspects of her specialty, where a range of medical options can be explored before considering surgical interventions, allowing her to create a personalized treatment plan for each patient. As a former collegiate soccer and lacrosse player, Dr. Ritter understands the importance of a team-based approach to patient care. Her interests include pediatrics, sleep apnea and Inspire therapy, nasal obstruction, septal deviation, allergy, chronic sinusitis and endoscopic sinus surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, as well as hearing loss and ear disease.
Dr. Ritter lives in Park City with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, biking, skiing, and exploring the surrounding mountains. She looks forward to meeting new patients and providing compassionate, comprehensive care.
