Head and neck cancers include those that occur in the structures of the neck, throat, mouth, nose, and sinuses. While some head and neck cancers are caused by the use of tobacco products and alcohol, others are not. Head and neck cancer may lead to difficulties with swallowing, breathing, talking, and eating. Head and neck cancer may be treated with radiation therapy, chemotherapy, surgery, or a combination of treatment types.
