The Paranasal sinuses, commonly referred to simply as sinuses, are a group of four paired air-filled spaces that surround the nasal cavity. There are sinus cavities above, between, and below the eyes. The sinuses are named for the facial bones in which they are located. The biological purpose of the sinuses is somewhat mysterious, as there is debate about their function.

There are a number of problems that can develop with relation to the sinuses. Click these examples to find out more about each and how the ENT Center of Utah helps treat them.
