Dr. Craig W. Anderson joined the Ear, Nose & Throat Center in 2009 after working for 28 years in general ENT on the campus of Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah.

During the last several years of his tenure, he recognized the need to provide help and expertise to those suffering from dizziness and balance disorders, and he shifted his time and efforts to better understand and serve those with this complex condition.

Dr. Anderson has served as the medical director of Utah Hearing & Balance, focusing on dizziness, vertigo and equilibrium disorders.

Dr. Anderson graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine. He completed an internship in surgery at prestigious Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, Washington, before returning to Utah to complete a residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (ENT). He has been in private practice locally since then.

He has attended educational courses on Balance and Dizziness disorders taught by Dr. Stephen Cass of the University of Colorado and Dr. Joseph Furman of the University of Pittsburgh. He also received training at the well-known Cleveland clinic with national dizziness expert Dr Judith White, and at Emory University with Susan J. Herdman, PhD, PT, a leading expert in rehabilitating patients suffering from loose crystals of the inner ear. Dr. Anderson has also completed numerous continuing education courses and received updates from leading experts around the country.

He is board certified, and a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology; a member and past president of the Utah Society of Otolaryngology; a member of the Utah County Medical Society, and prior Chief of Surgery at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah.

He is excited to be a part of this outstanding and forward-thinking group of well-trained and dynamic ENT physicians, and impressed by their commitment to establish and maintain a top notch, industry-leading Hearing and Balance facility to serve the needs of patients in Salt Lake City, Draper, Park City and across the state and intermountain region.
